Frame 1 - Left Foot Flat

Left Foot is Weighted and Pronated (Gravity Drive Pronation)
Right Heel is Lifting - Windlass Mechanism Engaging (right foot is resupinating)

Frame 2 - Left Mid Stance

Left Foot Continues Pronating (Gravity Drive Pronation)
Right Foot is in Mid Swing Phase - Externally Rotated (referred to as a 'Whipping Gait Pattern')

Typical Findings in PreClinical Clubfoot Deformity

  • (1)  Gravity Drive Pronation from Foot Flat to Pre Heel Lift
