The rope climb or rope ascent is a gymnastic exercise (bodyweight) where one simply ascends a climbing rope to the top. One can do this in many ways:

  • Using the legs for help
  • Using no legs, only upper body strength
  • Holding the legs out at 90 degress in the L-Seat position
  • Using two ropes side-by-side
