The rope climb or rope ascent is a gymnastic exercise (bodyweight) where one simply ascends a climbing rope to the top. One can do this in many ways:
- Using the legs for help
- Using no legs, only upper body strength
- Holding the legs out at 90 degress in the L-Seat position
- Using two ropes side-by-side
