An exercise set that is done directly after another with no rest in between, of the same muscle group or body part. [1] An example would be doing a set of bench press followed immediately by a set of overhead press. This term is often used to describe two back-to-back sets of opposing muscle groups, however, the term for that is a superset. [1]
